Horrible Deatli.
Mr. Peter E, Andrews, one of our best known citizens, met with a horrible death last Friday afternoon. He had rigged up a tank over the abandoned gas well, near True's mill, and intend¬ ed, if there was sufficient gas, to pipe it to his house. His skull was fractured in several places and his face horribly mangled. Fred Windish and James Lungard were standing close by when the accident happened, but were unin¬ jured. A boy cautioned Mr. A. about the danger, as he, with a number of {others, had burst barrets in playing; j about the old well. /£.- *t-l** &
