Mr. Avers was a retired postal service employee and had a rural mail route for 42 years. , Surviving are sons, Robert and George, Elmore; Warren, I Oak Harbor, O., and Ralph, El i Paso, Tex.; daughters, Mrs. ; Dorothy Wolfe and Mrs, Fran¬ ces Snider, ^oth of Port Clin- *:ton, 0„ and Mrs. Ruth Shef- fert, Clay Center; 25 grand¬ children; five great-grandchil¬ dren and a sister, Mrs. Julia Weis, Bradner,
