: Harlow Nelson Aldrich was born January 26, 1846. at Bruns- ¦ ick, Medina county, Ohio, and
[died at his late home in Elmore Wednesday, February 12, 1919,
: after an illness of nearly six months, of leakage of the heart and dropsy. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Dec. 25, 1861, at Oberlim Ohio, as private in Co. F, 43rd Regt., O. V. 1. He was finally mustered out" July 13, 1865, at Louisville, Kv.

Mr. Aldrich was always active j in politics and in civic affairs in his home town. He was many1 years a member of- the village; council and for a number of years : president of the same.
