The grim reaper has visited our community and two bright young- lives have been taken from our midst; pneumonia claimed the first, Laura Allen, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. S. D. Allen, Friday afternoon, after an illness of eleven days. The deceased was a student in the Junior Class of the high school, the funeral was con¬ ducted from the ""St. John's Lu¬ theran chutch, Sunday afternoon. The bo3rs of her class acted as pall bearers. Many and beauti¬ ful were the floral offerings, those left to mourn her early departure are a mother and father, one brother, Fred, and three sisters, M«ay, Arvilla and Clara, and a host of both young and old friends. The sympathy of jail are with the bereaved famil}r.
