Edward C. Anton Dies At Sandusky
Edward C. Anton, 810 Franklin St., Sandusky, died unexpectedly Sunday morning in Providence Hospital. Mr., Anton was born in Put-in-Bay and was at one time on the steamer Arrow which operated between the islands. He had been in the employ of the Pittsburgh Steamship Co. for 40 years, ibu/t had retired 16 years ago.
He was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Knights of St. John Commandery No. 49.
His widow, the former Caroline Fox, and a sister, Mrs. Frank Schoen, Gates Mills, survive. A j son, Edwin, died in 1927.
Services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Charles J. Andres Funeral Home and at 9:15 a.m. at St. Mary's Church with the Rev. J. H. Inkrott officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Ceme¬ tery. /-/-5*- /f $-7
Knights of St. John will recite the Rosary at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Tuesday. -
