S'EO.A. ANDERSON MEETS SUDDEN DEATH TUESDAY
The people of Elmore and vi¬ cinity were greatly shocked when the news spread that Geo. A. An- Jderson, well known citizen of El- ! more, had met sudden death bv [[suicide, early Tuesday morning. When the iamily awoke he was ! missed and Mr. DuBrie was called and found him dead in his barn* Mr. Burmann was called and he at once removed,the body to the undertaking rooms.
The blow is especially severe, to his family who will greatly miss his presence. He had al¬ ways been a constant companion and playmate of his five little boys who will soon come to real¬ ize their irreparable loss.
The funeral-is being held today (Thursday) at the home, the ser-; vices being in charge of Portage Lodge fc\ & A. iVl., J^udge Carl rSperling of Port Clinton conduct¬ ing the service and Mrs, Smith Welch of To edo sang. Interment in Urnon Cemetery.
The deceased was one of the best known men of Elmore and bad traveled extensively. He had a large farm just outside of town with a fine apple orchard on part of it. He also owned a business block in town, part of which is occupied by his motion picture theater.
¦ Mr. Anderson was born id El- rmore May 10,1875. and died Aug. r9, 1921,'aged 46 years, 2 months and 29 days. He was a graduate of Elmore high school and spent practically all his life here. He I was affiliated with tbeK. P. lodge jhere, had been a member of the ( F.& A.M. heieabout 15 years, be¬ came a Shriner not long ago and was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter.
I He was first married to Miss ( Neilie Ingrahani of Curtice who s died of tuberculosis in Colorado t where he had taken her for res¬ toration to health. He later mar- ; ned Miss Grace. Longfellow in
North/Dakota and they came at i once to live in Elmore. This j union was blessed with five sens.
