•George Ambrose, 71, died at the Mercy hospital, Toledo, Saturday, June 9th. Two operations were nec¬ essary and the shock from the sec¬ ond operation caused the death.
The deceased was born in Virginia, but came here with relatives many years ago. He followed farming for many years, but of late years was compelled to seek lighter work.
He was married to Miss Elizabeth Carr many years ago, and she and three children survive him: Mrs. Harry Shaffer, of Loain, and Mrs. Eugene Hearn and Mr. Clarence Am¬ brose of this city. He had a large circle of friends and he was univer¬ sally popular with all.
The funeral was held from the Immaculate Conception Catholic church Tuesday morning, Rev. Father Brand conducting the service. The body was laid to rest in Lakeview cemetery. (^ ~r S - f f 3l 9
