Funeral services were held Mon-

Toledo St., for_John W. Darling,
67, wtho died in (his sleep Friday
morning". The Rev. D. M. Limbert,
Trinity Methodist Church, officiat¬
ed and interment was in Union
cemetery. Sabrosne - Myers mor¬
tuary was in charge.^ ;
Mr. Darnng was a member of
the local Masonic lodge many
•years, a past master and a 32nd
degree Mason. Lodge services
were held in the home Sunday
afternoon. A native of Elmore>
\ Mr. Darling was a lifelong resi¬
dent of the community.- He serv¬
ed as postmaster two terms and
j was employed in the county oiffice
of the old age (pension until a
month ago when he hecame ill.
Surviving are two sons, James
of Elmore, and Jack of Sandusky,
and two grandchildren. His wife
preceded him in death two years
ago.
