AGED MAN KILLED hi
AUTOMOBILE
Ira. Dowe, 7$, was killed by an auto¬
mobile on the Martin and Clay Cen¬
ter road Tuesday evening. The death
machine was diiyenby Lester McGee
20, who was arrested by Sheriff Cover
Coroner Yeisley viewed the remains*.
It appears that'the aged man who
carries the mail to and from trains to
the Martin postoffice and he was
making one of these trips when the
accident happened- '•-
M^fGee was gi^en a hearing before
Justice Galleher "Thursday morning
and was bound;over to await the ac¬
tion of the grand jury. He is charg¬
ed with reckless driving. His bail
w;-- fixed at $1,000: which he furnis¬
