The well bred horse American Farmer will stand to cover Mares in the ensuing season, at the stable of Alexander McWilliams on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in every week; on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at the stable of Samuel Cole, one mile from Sharpless's mill, on the main road to St. Clairsville; at the low rate of three dollars the season; one dollar and fifty cents the single leap, to be paid at the time; five dollars to insure a colt, to be paid when the mare is known to be with colt or removed from the neighbourhood. Wheat, Rye, Corn, Barley, Flax or Linen, will be taken in payment, if delivered at Evans's, Sharpless's, or Harriss's mill, or at the stands, by the first of October next, at market price at the time of delivery. The season to commence the 15th April, and end the 10th of July--all public days are excepted. The American Farmer is a beautiful Dapple Grey, full sixteen hands high, eight years old this spring.
