Description |
Photograph shows the Westerville Post Office on South State Street on a winter day. The building is one story, made of brick, and has large, sliding paned glass windows. Cement steps lead to the front door. Two women appear to be leaving the post office, and a man is walking up the front steps towards the building. Snow covers the sidewalk, ground, and bushes. The Anti-Saloon League was headquartered in Westerville, Ohio, and sent out so much mail in the early twentieth century that Westerville became the smallest town in the United States to have a first class post office. |
