Cooperation is one of the key goals of the Ohio Memory Project. Participants are encouraged to work together with the staff and volunteers of their local institutions to decide which item(s) are the most significant and/or unique to your collections. Local institutions can combine forces in order to prepare submissions and arrange digitization efforts. Institutions are encouraged to use the listserv to coordinate their efforts. Examples of cooperative projects include:

• The Greater Cincinnati Memory Project, a project of the Greater Cincinnati Library Consortium;
• Our Town Digital Library, a cooperative effort of the Shaker Heights Public Library and Historical Society, The Worthington Public Library and the Worthington Historical Society;
• Toledo's Attic, a project of the Lucas County/Maumee Valley Historical Society, Toledo-Lucas County Public Library, University of Toledo and the Toledo Museum of Art.
