Laurie
Gemmill is the Project Manager for Ohio Memory.
Laurie received Master of Arts degrees in European History
from the University of California, Irvine and Library
and Information Science from the University of California,
Los Angeles. She has worked for the Ohio Historical
Society since 1995, first as the Archivist/Librarian
at the Youngstown Historical Center of Industry & Labor
and then as the Electronic Records Archivist. Laurie
also served as Project Manager on the African

Mary
Alice Mairose, Content Editor, works with local institutions to select materials for Ohio Memory. She holds a master's degree from the Ohio State University in American history. Previously, she worked in the interpretive division at OHS where she researched material for new exhibits. Her most recent project involved research on the Worthington family and servants for the renovation of the Adena estate. Her essay on Thomas Worthington will appear in the upcoming volume Builders of Ohio, which will be published by the Ohio State University Press. Phone: (614) 297-2575. Angela O'Neal, Content Editor, works with local institutions to select materials for Ohio Memory. She received her bachelor's degrees in History and Anthropology from Kent State University and her master's degree in History from Miami University of Ohio. Her article titled "Remembering the Maine: Memory, Ritual and Women's Roles in the Auxiliary of United Spanish War Veterans, 1922-1966," was published in the Fall 2000 edition of Ohio History. Phil Sager is Web Designer for the Ohio Memory Project. He has a B.A. in history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MLS from UW-Madison, and a Specialist Degree in web development from IU-Bloomington. In addition to numerous student projects, he has done an online interactive tutorial for a virtual university and helped develop the library web site at University of Louisville. Shawn Martin, Digitization Specialist. Shawn received his bachelor's degree in history from the Ohio State University and his MA in history from the College of William and Mary. Most recently, he worked with the Digital Library project at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation scanning, cataloguing, and researching the collections at the John D. Rockefeller Library.

Elizabeth Nelson received a bachelor's degree in history from Princeton University and a master's degree in information science, with a specialization in archives and records management, from the University of Michigan School of Information. As the head of the Online Access Department of the Archives/Library, she supervises the Ohio Memory Project.
